Except as otherwise discussed in this Privacy Policy, this document only addresses the use and disclosure of information We collect from You on Our Site. Other sites accessible through Our Site have their own policies in regard to privacy. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third parties.

Regarding demographic information, We may contract with information providers that help Us better understand Visitors of our Sites and to advertise to those who find Our content relevant. We may share “PII” with such companies provided they have explicit policies to not share Our data with any other parties and solely for the purpose of helping Us understand Our Customers better. This technique is called “database marketing” and is practiced by virtually every US corporation. While there is no global way to “opt out” that We are aware of, You may opt out of Us finding out extra demographic information about You by (1) contacting Us using Our contact page, (2) writing “Privacy – opt out of demographic information” in the subject and/or body of Your message to Us, and (3) providing Us with the same email address that You provided to Us as a Customer or Subscriber.

We may also record information relating to Your use of the Site, such as searches You performed, the pages You viewed, Your browser type, Your IP address, the URL You requested, and timestamp information in order to administer the Site and provide the highest possible level of Service to You. We may also use this information in aggregate to perform statistical analysis of use behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of Our Site. In other words, We use Your behavior data to help Us improve Our Site so that You can have the best experience possible.

We may use standard technologies called “cookies” and/or “clear GIFs” to collect information about how Our Site is used, to uniquely identify Your browser, and/or to improve the quality of Your Service. A cookie is a small data text file which a website stores on Your computer’s hard drive (if Your web browser allows) that can later be retrieved to identify You to Us. Cookies were designed to help a website recognize a User’s browser as a previous Visitor to save and remember any preferences that may have been set while the User was browsing the Site. A cookie cannot be read by any website other than the website issuing the cookie. A cookie cannot pass on a computer virus or capture any “PII.”

Clear GIFs (also called pixel tags, single pixel GIFs, web beacons, or action tags) help Us measure advertising effectiveness. They are used to track the online movement of Users. Clear GIFs differ from cookies in that they are invisible on the page and tiny (like the size of a period “.”). Clear GIFs are not tied to “PII” and only track Visitor traffic and behavior to and on Our Site. A clear GIF can work with a cookie only if they are both from the same website or advertising company.
